Piedmont park is a wonderful place most of us have had much fun in and around. So many of us were raised there in one way or another. This painting puts your right on the lake looking up at the wall of highrise buildings.


The texture is tremendous up to .4 inch thick painted completely with the palette knife. Standing back the painting is realism, as you near the colors and texture reveals itself and is amazing. The goal with this technique is to lay down as many colors as possible with each brush stroke. Tight intense colors at the micro level but easy on the eyes from standing distance.
